Today Mad Catz announced that they have partnered with Activision and Infinity Ward to develop a range of controllers and accessories. The release also says that the company will develop accessories for all platforms currently announced for the title, which include Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 systems.

Vince Zampella (CEO of Infinity Ward) – “Mad Catz’s innovation and fresh approach from Day 1 has been great, Their team has really poured their hearts into the new line of accessories for Modern Warfare 2 and we can’t wait for our fans to have a chance to play for themselves this November.”

Impressions?

I like the fact the Modern Wafare 2 is getting it's own controllers and acessories, but I don't like how Mad Cats gets to do it.

Why not Mad Catz?

I don't really know, I never liked their controllers, always big clunky and cheap to me.

I don't really see the point. I never bought a controller specifically for any other game. I nearly bought a Halo 3 controller once but then I thought "what's the point, it's just a regular controller". However, if the controller has something different about it then maybe I'll consider it but I doubt it.

I'm pretty sure that the controller is made specifically to play Modern Warfare 2.

Yeah but other than the look of it, what's going to be different?

I really don't know, but they said it was going to be different, more than looks, at least that's what I heard.

LOL, I sort of agree there, but even if it only has MW2 Graphics I may buy it, my PS3 controllers (Not as reliable as 360 Controllers, I must admit) are getting a little old and broken like. So a MW2 controller may be better.

PS: Are you receiving my PMs? I sent some but they only appear in my outbox, and not in sent messages.
